HOLLAND HEINEKEN HOUSE
The 10th Olympic installment of Holland Heineken House promises to impress with over 50,000 square feet of performance space, dining areas, and lounges. But the real draw is $4.50 beers and Dutch DJs spinning for massive crowds until the wee hours.
Location: Minoru Arena in Richmond’s O Zone

SOCHI HOUSE
Take in all that Russian arts, culture, dining, and sport has to offer at this slick house dedicated to celebrating the country’s athletes and generating excitement for the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi.
Location: Telus World of Science
Nearby venues: BC Place, Canada Hockey Place, Athletes’ Village
Offerings: Traditional cuisine, Russian films screened on the massive Omnimax screen, autograph signing and photo sessions with athletes. Vodka

Price: No charge but day passes must be obtained from the information centre at the entrance and preference is given to Russian passport holders.
ATLANTIC CANADA HOUSE
Who would’ve guessed the eastern provinces would be presenting Canada’s best pavilion at the Vancouver Olympics? From food tastings to musical shows by top indie acts, the Maritimes have pulled out all the stops in their bid to “share Atlantic Canadian hospitality.”
Location: Granville Island Stage, the Revue Stage and the Backstage Lounge
