Vancouver magazine feted those named to our 9th Annual Power 50 list at a gala reception packed with the city's major players
On November 16, the Grand Ballroom at The Vancouver Club was the place to see and be seen as the city's movers and shakers mingled over hors d'oeuvres and cocktails in celebration of Vanmag's 2009 Power 50. This year's list gave bonus points to those who made the 2010 Olympics a reality and keynote speaker and Vanoc CEO John Furlong (No. 1), Mayor Gregor Robertson (No. 3), City Manager Penny Ballem (No. 5) and real estate king Bob Rennie (No. 9) were among the attendees to receive awards.
