Three things to do this Saturday to celebrate the luck o' the Irish
Brunch at Rancity Grill, which is offering dishes like green eggs and ham, crab omelet with watercress salad, bubble and squeak hash, Irish stew prepared with lamb cheeks, a smoked salmon brioche, and green fish 'n' chips. $20 per person, available Saturday and Sunday.
Settle in at the bar at Shebeen and order a glass of 12 Year Old Red Breast Irish Whiskey ($9), a double gold medal winner from the prestigious San Fransciso World Spirits Competition (the one that matters).
See the woebegone William Fitzsimmons at the Biltmore. Fine, he's from Illinois, but his last name and mournful tunes seem perfectly fitting.
