20th Annual Restaurant Awards

Industry insiders (all 900 of them) gathered to eat, drink, and fete the winners of this year's awards
The Sheraton Wall Centre was transformed into a raucous mid-afternoon party as hundreds of restaurateurs, chefs, servers, and other industry players came together to celebrate the best of B.C. dining. Award finalists provided plenty of tasty bites (Tojo's immacuately presented sushi disappeared fast) and the Grey Goose vodka lounge kept revellers well lubricated at the pre-awards party. The ceremony, hosted by Mike Ekford and Fiona Forbes of Urban Rush, was fittingly bacchanal (we're looking at you Thomas Haas and Mark Taylor), and new faces were greeted with thunderous applause at the podium.
