FAHIMA NASRY
Fahima Nasry
never got the chance to go to school in Pakistan,
where she grew up. Here, her husband works as
a parking attendant and at night studies for his
high school equivalency. “Everyone in my
family is a student,” she laughs. “My
children help me with my English homework. The
two youngest fight over who will get to help me.”
She comes to the co-op twice a week, after ESL
classes. “I miss it when I’m not here.
I love to learn.”
