Blocks and sail shapes are filled with bold primary and secondary colours in Barbeau's abstract canvases. Born in 1925, he has remained true to the doctrine of th first abstract art pioneers, formed when he was still in his twenties. Barbeau's most recent canvases are on exhibit at the Winsor Gallery.
