Joie Pinot Noir Rosé
2005, B.C. $18.40
Rosé
perfectly captures the lively personality of Okanagan
fruit. Sadly, there never seems to be enough to
go around. This is a snappy blend of Pinot Noir
and Chardonnay from one of the Okanagan’s
ever-growing brigade of boutique wineries. It’s
crafted in a slightly off-dry style, but the focussed
flavours and lively acid provide the structure
for serious food. Look for this wine on top restaurant
wine lists or at private wine stores.
