Blush

Mar 23, 2012

Inspired by the Marquis de Sade, Blush is a physically and emotionally invigorating production from New York's Gallim Dance. Set to music as diverse as the movements that accompany it, the theatrical 55-minute piece puts the white-painted dancers into contact that eventually exposes their rosy flesh.

Mar 10, 2012

It includes work by peers, current artists, and graduates from her namesake school—Karin Bubaš, Lawren Harris, and Steven Shearer, among them—who have applied transcendence to modern-day culture.

Mar 9, 2012
His works have been displayed in New York, Manchester, Melbourne, and Toronto yet this is only the third solo show in Vancouver—or anywhere, for that matter—for this Emily Carr alum. The untitled exhibition sees the Vancouver-based artist, musician, and curator, known for his concept-driven work, combine different photographic materials, ranging from prints, analogue and digital, and the use of silhouettes, into one single image.
