Janusz Korczak’s 1923 children’s novel, brought to life for the Chutzpah! festival, follows the story of a child prince turned king. Starting anew, he decrees that all children should have merry-go-rounds at school and chocolate cake every day. Of course, his true quest is for friendship, but we still like the cake idea.
