A restored heritage farmhouse on the 35-acre Unsworth Winery is where chef Brad Boisvert (Amuse Bistro) has set down new roots, championing hyper-local and seasonal flavours. Sit patio-side overlooking the vineyard and toast the setting with glasses of Unsworth Pinot Gris. Enjoy the vintner's lunch of farmhouse charcuterie, preserves, and Island cheeses. Dinner is finely tuned with local tea-marinated wild salmon, crusted with hazelnuts and bee pollen in a thyme beurre blanc with salmon skin bacon and ancient grain fritters. Inspired desserts hit the sweet spot with propolis honey fritters served with basil coulis and red wine-macerated strawberries, or almond milk panna cotta with elderberry red wine soup and candied angelica. The wine list also sings local praises and the service is efficient and informed.
