Having moved from its first location at 1 West Cordova to its new glass-and-steel digs in the Water Street Garage, Boneta version 2.0 hasn’t skipped a beat. If anything, the award-winning charmer is improved by its more cloistered feel. Many original elements made the move, among them the bar, the Charles Forsberg canvases, and the staff. They’ve also gained a patio and an atrium dining room. The bar remains one of the most professional in town, and Jason Leizert’s menu reads as an ever-changing, always interesting mix of Frenchish inventions: he excels at côte de boeuf, for example, and his poutine is best in show.
