This sexy Italian trat in the Moda Hotel turned plenty of heads even before enRoute named it Canada's best new restaurant in 2009. Housemade pastas redolent of fresh herbs and first-press extra-virgin olive oils are never in short supple on the captivating menu that changes daily. The four-course pretheatre menu ($39) may impress more than the show that follows. Do take advantage of the excellent wine list and barkeep Yohan Sweetapple's smart cocktails.
