This taquería always appears in the Best of the Americas category in Vancouver magazine’s restaurant awards. Bright, balanced flavours and spiced meats are each made with precision: from al pastor to carne enchilada and carnitas. Each of the eight salsas is unique in flavour complexity: from a classic bright-green tomatillo to a creamy peanut version. Chef and co-owner Brenda Castrejon happily advises salsa parings to go with her time-honoured recipes. (Her grandmother ran a famous taquería in Mexico.)
