Owners Carmine Paradiso and Roger Visona, with frontman Scott Fitch (formerly Feenie’s, Hilton Vancouver) have opened an authentic Neapolitan pizzeria and wine bar that aims to be the second restaurant in Vancouver to be accredited with “Vera Pizzeria Napolitana” status (the first being Nicli Antica in Gastown). Here find slick black leather banquettes, high tops around a bustling bar, and crispy crusts that don’t flop. Located next to Fifth Avenue Cinemas, it’s the perfect date-night place to share a salami-and-olive pie after a flick. (Formerly Incendio West, next to Fifth Avenue Cinema.)
