Salty’s Beach House

A Penticton lakeshore institution, with a perpetually busy (seasonal) patio overlooking Okanagan Lake beach, and a dining room featuring an open kitchen and wood-fired pizza oven. A global beach-themed menu–from Pad Thai to Hawaiian-style teriyaki prime rib and jerk chicken—offers lots of choice, but what Salty’s does best is seafood, like King crab, garlicky Spanish-style gambas (prawns), and French Rivera-inspired scallops remoulade. The second floor houses Salty’s oyster-and-martini bar, the Black Pearl, which roars on weekend summer evenings.
