A soaring two-level showpiece with Arabian-flavoured decadence (the mezzanine is lined with lounge beds). While it attracts weekend partiers, Sanafir retains serious culinary cred. The menu globetrots around Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, and sharing is encouraged: select from a bevy of $6.95 tapas (crostini with braised shortrib, dates, and pequillo peppers is a sensuous collision of flavours) and $7.95 mezze (creamy lamb kofta, smoky grilled octopus). If you don’t want to share, paella with prawns, mussels, chicken, and chorizo ($19.95) is a good bet.
