Charmingly attached to its global backpacking and hippy sensibilities, The Dream Café’s eclecticism is its main draw. The solid breakfast and brunch offerings, from classic eggs benny ($10) to the Baja Fritatta ($10.95), are a hit with Ironman triathletes and famished families. Lunch and dinner span everything from paninis and wraps to tofu and tenderloin and butterflied prawns. In the evening, it becomes Penticton’s best small live-music venue with both well-known and emerging artists.
