The team behind Sip has opened a new 75-seat wine bar upstairs from the restaurant. The menu includes build-your-own plates of cheese and charcuterie, as well as cured seafood and antipasto platters and an extensive wine and cocktail list. A stylish crowd roars late into the night (recalling the space’s former life as the raucous Sugar Refinery), but this is grown-up fun that (literally) rises above the Granville riff-raff.
