Japanese cuisine with much-deserved cult following. Owners Naotatsu Ito and his wife, Kaori, offer a simple, swiftly changing lunch menu made with care, creativity, and precision. The rice bowls topped with chicken teriyaki or marinated salmon provide terrific value ($6-7), and daily specials keep the menu fresh. Steadfast dessert following for the organic strawberry mochi cakes ($2). Sadly, only open Monday to Friday.
