Federico’s Supper Club

Dress up in your swanky best and get ready to cut a rug—an evening at Federico’s is as much about the experience as it is about the meal. Owner Federico Fuoco successfully recaptures the supper club aesthetic of days past, taking centre stage on weekends to croon for a crowd including ballroom dancers, raucous bachelorettes, and everyone in between. But the party doesn’t overshadow chef Romy Prasad’s solidly executed menu of classic Italian favourites. Three- and four-course set menus are offered ($40 and $50 respectively); deftly dressed goat cheese and beet salad, rich mushroom risotto and grilled flat-iron steak take top marks. Dessert pales, but you'll be too busy dancing to care.
