Savvy Harry Kambolis (of C fame) yet again nailed waterfront with this good-looking False Creekside room—a smart, sexy, sea-green space that merits its location. Modification of much-debated low-backed chairs has silenced whiners. Great schmoozing bar, smoky jazz Sunday brunches, front-row seats for a West Coast sunset, and, as with all Kambolis ventures, intelligent West Coast food. Seafood is always a sage pick. Try albacore tuna with bright, Mediterranean flavours ($25) or a baby coho with spiced quinoa ($25). Bonus points for right-sized petite desserts.
