Many of the designers featured in this new Gastown shop use sweatshop-free organic cotton, soy, bamboo, and recycled materials, and produce pieces on a very limited scale. Look for 57-33 from Oakland—its screen-printed and hand-stencilled shirts are printed and sprayed with solvent-free, water-based paints and inks.
