Pluck a gal from the American snowboarding industry, plant her in Deep Cove, and the result is Room 6. Owner Megan Curren’s eye for superior design backs up the store’s mantra: “special things for nice people.” Such as? Marimekko goodies (tablecloths, $85), artsy-but-cuddly Blabla stuffed toys (from $39), whimsical necklaces by locals Andrea Waines and Filou, and the best-selling Man, You Smell Good gentlemen’s bath line, which Curren whips up in-house.
