A Main Street mainstay, the boutique is owned by local designers Glencora Twigg, Christine Hotton and Jessica Vaira and stocks three house labels and pieces by 50 Canadian designers and counting. Look for Glencora's tailored wardrobe staples (selling under the twigg&hottie label), best-selling Marzio Fiorini’s line of recycled rubber jewellery out of Brazil and simple, sterling silver jewellery by Mindan Gunther-Moore.
Mario Fiorini’s intricate, laser-cut rubber accessories, available in black, red and white ($28-$58), belie their humble origins as carpet underpadding.
Local designer Nicole Bridger (she helped design and launch OQOQO, Lululemon’s enviro-friendly sister) makes sustainable sexy, no small feat. Her Fall/Winter 08 line debuted at BC Fashion Week last month; get the goods at Twigg and Hottie.
