Shopping Diary: Miss Coquette owner Leanne
Dunic is opening a second space just down the street—10th
and Proper (her “alter ego”) will carry
stylish basics for men and women, including an in-house
line of tees, Proper Ty, made by the same company that
does basics for Prada and Jill Sander. 4483 W. 10th
Ave., West Point Grey. ¶ Cartier has opened
a new, double-the-size space; expect a full range of
accessories for men, women and kids, more watches, more
engagement rings, and less room on your credit card.
456 Howe St., Downtown, 604-683-6878. ¶
Jason Matlo scores a major coup—he is the first
local label to be carried at Leone (757 W. Hastings
St., Downtown, 604-683-1132.). ¶ One of Denmark’s
most respected luxury labels, Noir, is now available
at Holt Renfrew (633 Granville St., Downtown, 604-681-3121.).
¶ On March 11, Harry Rosen is sponsoring an 8-km
run in Stanley Park, Harry’s Spring Run-Off, to
raise money for prostate cancer. Sign up at Canadarunningseries.com.

PARADISE FOUND
The new and opulent
Eden boutique in Yaletown (104-1042 Hamilton St.)
carries local label Asluxe, whose debut collection
was the highlight of last fall’s BC Fashion
