Vancouver Asian Film Festival

Canada’s oldest Asian film fest hits its Sweet 16 with four days of screenings, industry events, and—especially—guest appearances by directors and cast. Standouts include opening film Daylight Savings, sequel to last year’s popular Surrogate Valentine; and closing film White Frog, a coming-of-age story featuring a who’s who of young actors including Tyler Posey (star of Teen Wolf) and Harry Shum Jr. (Mike Chang from Glee).
