Non-scenesters have enjoyed this resto-pub for years, which has operated at a slight remove from the Davie Village. New owners suspended the food service recently, and are aiming for a lounge/nightclub vibe. Sidle up to an outdoor table, where one can still hear Top 40 and house, and enjoy powerful heat lamps and even more powerful cocktails: patio bliss. The Oasis remains a prime (and rare) bar for actual conversation. (Still, we miss the tiny candies that bartenders used to plunk in apple martinis.) Hours 8:30 p.m.-3 a.m. Tue-Sat
