3. John at the Firehall Arts Centre

Helen Walkley’s powerful dance theatre piece is a memoir of her oldest brother who disappeared from Vancouver in May 1969. It is sourced from an archive of family letters as well as the work Walkley’s parents did during their search from their son.

OG Punk

4. OG Punk at the Polygon Gallery

Through January 16

Dina Goldstein is a Vancouver photographer who has captured the legacy of punk as a youth counterculture movement rebelling against mainstream society. Initially photographed in the 80s and 90s in Vancouver and Victoria, this new exhibit also features updated images of the original punks today.
