If you haven’t the cash or don’t agree with stunt restaurants, we’re pretty sure that you can still take a leisurely walk through Ambleside and see what all the fuss is about.

Stand-up comedy, soulful folk tunes, and some very empowering females—there’s something for everyone at Anything Goes. Comedian Richard Glen Lett opens the evening, followed by singer Chelsea D.E. Johnson and headliner Rivky Gee. Originally from New York, Rivky Gee tours as a musician and advocate for mental health (her lived experiences with schizophrenia shine a light on psychosis).You can check out her sound here.

Comedy Crisis

Through January 25

Laugh to keep from crying: the new play House and Home is a comedic take on Vancouver’s real estate crisis. We’re predicting this show having a very high relatability factor (almost as high as our housing prices, yikes!) as it tells the story of housing headaches, short-term rentals and abandoning values. It tackles real problems with compassion and comedy—we’ll see you there.
