3. Bard-B-Q and Fireworks

If you haven’t been to Bard on the Beach yet this summer, this weekend is your chance to do it in style: watch A Midsummer Night’s Dream, enjoy a catered meal and then end the night with a private view of some spectacular fireworks.

4. Create! Arts Festival

July 23-24

Spend the day making art at the Create! Arts Festival. There will be a mix of visual and performing artists hosting workshops, public art activities and art demonstrations. You can expect mosaic work, painting, drawing, ceramics, textiles and storytelling. Plus wine, beer, cider and a bunch of food trucks.

5. Flax Home Pop-Up

Linen is all the rage when it comes to comfy, breathable and chic sheets, blankets and shams. Flax Home is Canada’s first direct-to-consumer destination of European linen and now you have the chance to check out their wares in person at their Granville Island pop-up. Several other stores will also be showcasing their products at the pop-up, including Better Basics, Trend with MJ, Perks and Meirako.
