1. Unibrow Arts Festival
Through March 31
Don't tell me you've got nothing to do. The Unibrow Arts Festival is hosting workshops, panels, a virtual zine market, and several comedy shows all online. Catch local comedian Maddy Kelly's All You Can Eat Laundry show on March 26 at 7:00 p.m., and check out the entire program of events here.

2. Flamenco Rosario: Buena Mezcla
March 26 to 27
The Dance Centre's online lineup of events continues this week with Buena Mezcla. The three-part Flamenco show features Mucha Muchacha from Spain, Anastassiia Alexander from Calgary, and, of course, Flamenco Rosario from Vancouver. Flamenco Rosario's third explores the line between the dancer's domestic and professional lives—relatable for all of us living that #WFH life.

3. Celebrate International Waffle Day
We don't really need an excuse to eat waffles, but why not celebrate the little things in these trying times? Juke Fried Chicken and Beetbox are both serving up chicken (or chick-un) and waffles in honour of the occassion. Juke's is only available for one day only (Thursday) while Beetbox is keeping the plant-based goodies coming until Sunday.

4. Take a Stained Glass Workshop
Local artist Corinne Leroux is putting on stained glass workshops just in time for the sunshine. In her intro class, you'll learn how to cut glass, use a glass grinder, and solder (that's when you join two metals together using another metal that melts at a lower temperature). Her (socially distanced) suncatcher-making classes only host 4 people at a time, so register while you can.
5. Do a Benefit Bootcamp
Fitness coach Shana Alexander is offering an almost-weekly bootcamp and donating all of the proceeds to charity—she's raised more than $35,000 in the last year! This Sunday's class benefits SWAN, a local organization that promotes the rights, health and safety of im/migrant women engaged in indoor sex work. There's no equipment needed for this strength and cardio workout, and lots of modifications will be available (it's perfect for beginners).
