1. The Permanent

What the Bloedel Conservatory lacks in space (this venue can only accommodate intimate ceremonies), it makes up for in exoticism. The dome at the top of Queen Elizabeth Park, which can be booked for morning or evening ceremonies, is home to over 100 free-flying birds and more than 500 tropical plants. In other words, it’s ideal for brides and grooms that want to exchange vows among a colourful array of flora and fauna.

3. The Greenhouse

This whimsical greenhouse provides the perfect blank slate for couples that want to design a one-of-a-kind ceremony. Owned by the team behind Woodpecker Rentals, the venue’s Deluxe Package will give you access to a stunning collection of wood tables, chairs and benches to help pull your vision together. While it’s not unusual to get married at a golf course, it’s far less common to get married in a barn at a golf course—but that’s exactly what you can do at Estate 248. The property has everything couples need to set the scene for a country wedding, from rustic barns and spacious lawns to gravel footpaths and split-level fences. Meanwhile, a farmhouse offers an idyllic setting for getting-ready photos and first looks.

5. The Polygon Gallery

Location: North Vancouver

If you’ve dreamed of saying “I do” in a minimalist, contemporary venue, look no further than the Polygon Gallery. Its rental package, available for the 2022 wedding season, will give you exclusive use of the 24,000-square-foot facility—including the Main Floor Gallery, Seaspan Pavilion, TD Bank Group Gallery and Freybe Family Gallery.
