Sunday Night Movie Series Continues at Bells and Whistles

Bells and Whistles is set to host a movie series every Sunday this November. Enjoy late happy hour specials ($7 chilli cheese dogs or glasses of Bench 1775 Pinot Gris), while watching classic films like Airplane! (November 3), Pineapple Express (November 10), Men in Black (November 17), and The Princess Bride (November 24).

AnnaLena Dinner Series Volume: Fall Harvest

For three days in November AnnaLena is serving their five-course Fall Harvest menu from their award-winning culinary team. Moon Curser Vineyards (named the number one preforming small winery at the 2019 WineAlign National Wine Awards) will be providing off-the-beaten path wines for this series.

Caviar Festival 2019

Ancora Waterfront Dining and Patio is hosting the fifth annual Caviar festival at its False Creek and Ambleside locations. Executive Chef Ricardo Valverde has prepared a Caviar Festival Menu that will feature six inspired caviar-forward creations.

Swine Out 2019

Chef’s Table Society of BC and the Mount Pleasant Business Improvement Association are inviting everyone to Heritage Hall for Swine Out Vancouver. Prepare to indulge in a selection of craft beer from the Mount Pleasant’s Brewery Creek district and artisan charcuterie at this inaugural event.

Dine Railtown Initiative

In this month-long initiative, nine Railtown restaurants and cafes are coming together to offer a limited-time-only feature. Guests can enjoy a diverse range of meals from participating restaurants like Ask For Luigi, The Belgard Kitchen and The Mackenzie Room. All proceeds will be donated to the Lookout Housing and Health Society.

Tacofino Taps Into Collaboration with Strathcona Brewing

Tacofino is collaborating with Strathcona Brewing Company to create a new ‘Dark Lager’ beer. The Dark Lager will be unveiled at Tacofino’s Strathcona location on November 1, while the official launch party is on the following night at the Gastown location.

La Paulée Wine Dinner Series: Barolo and Brunello Di Montalcino

Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar is set to host a La Paulée’-styled wine dinner on November 24.

Dante NYC at Homer St.

Acclaimed New York restaurant and bar, Dante NYC, (named “2019 World’s Best Bar” by Tales of the Cocktail) will be doing a pop-up at Homer St. Cafe. Guests should expect the best of Dante’s Negroni and Spritz menu, as well as a selection of modern Italian cuisine.
