The Beloved Toque Craft Fair Drops Tomorrow

Another day, another arts community pivot. This time it’s the Western Front’s yearly Toque craft festival. We’ve always looked forward to Toque not just because it supports the cutting edge Western Front gallery, but because they always gather a super cool collection of artisans and makers who share a cultural ethos that favours the handmade and interesting over, well, crap.

But like so many other events, this one’s going virtual. So while you can still score goods from artisans like jewelry designer Anita Sikma (pictured above) or Henderson Dry Goods (pictured below), you’ll just have to do it from the comfort of your own home this year.

The full list of artisans whose work will be for sale is here and here’s the link to enter the online marketplace starting December 1. Buy a lot, buy often and support the arts.
