The Ticket: Novel Idea is a Night of “Literature and Libations”

Vancouver’s own Paper Label doesn’t literally use paper for its contemporary, comfort-modern loungewear designs, but it turns out the founders are a fan of the page in other capacities… like books (maybe you’ve heard of them?).

To kick off a three-day pop-up at Little Mountain Shop, Paper Label will play host to “Novel Idea”: a night of local literature, plentiful libations and a chance to shop the latest collection, which sounds appealingly similar to my usual Thursday night plans (hate-reading Normal People with a glass of red in my pajama pants).

Authors Megan Williams (Our Interupted Fairy Tale), Tage Lee (Mama Needs a Drink) and Mary Hodder Ross (An Unnatural Choice) will read from their works, and Paper Label will have limited-edition sleep shirts and totes for sale if you’re feeling like you deserve a treat for being the type of sophisticated person who attends literary events (you do!).

All funds from the event will go to Read for the Cure.
