1. Light Up Chinatown!

September 10-11

Chinatown’s two-day, family-friendly festival is back with a full slate of new, exciting experiences, including performances from Goh Ballet, DJ Kubanito and the Madison Reunion Band. Arrive hungry because will be an array of food trucks, a self-guided culinary walking tour of Chinatown, plus, Beaucoup Bakery and Chinatown BBQ’s fan fave Peking duck croissant will be available both days.

2. Taste of Abby Night Market

September 9

Enjoy a night of culinary treasures at this celebration of end of summer produce. Experience dishes made with local ingredients from around Abbotsford and the Fraser Valley, handcrafted beverages, and live music.

3. Take This Waltz

September 10-11

As part of this year’s Chutzpah! FestivalTake This Waltz is a celebration of legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen. This world premiere includes music, opera, dance, and stunning visuals—all staged by Israeli choreographer and director Idan Cohen.

4. Le Burger Week

September 1-September 14

Le Burger Week is back across Cananda for its 11th edition—this time, it’s changing things up with an plant-based theme. Over 20 Vancouver restaurants are offering exciting, limited-edition eats—like Meet’s Everyday I’m Trufflin’ and Bells and Whistles’ The Chopped Beyond. All of the burgers are exclusively delivered by DoorDash, and you can vote on your favourites via their website.
