Fresh off a new album (Disaster Trick) that dropped this past August—one that marks a creative reset for the Boston indie outfit—experience all the drippy, oozy moodie shoegaze vibes at the Fox Cabaret this Friday (with Teethe and La Lune) and rhythmically sway in place while feeling all the feels (unless you now sit at concerts like me).

2. Join the Outdoor Hip-Hop Party with Snotty Nose Rez Kids (with Travis Thompson, Drezus and more) at the Malkin Bowl

September 21

With a new album Life After set to drop October 22, the SNRK (Yung Trybez and Young D) are sure to bring the noise to everyone’s fave outdoor venue in Stanley Park—and, by noise, I mean thought-provoking lyrics that challenge Indigenous stereotypes set to club-forward trap beats that’ll have you hitting that grass-covered dance floor hard.

Where: Malkin Bowl
Cost: $54.25

3. Hit a Fall Pop-Up Market at Robson Square Ice Rink

Get a dose of nostalgia with your cardio with the return of an iconic landmark, Stardust Roller Rink at the Guildford Town Centre (not technically a Vancouver event but I can’t resist a throwback). You can get your skate on until October 31 so don’t miss your chance to relive the joy of a simpler, pre-Y2K time while still trying to figure out how to break that isn’t just running into the wall. Each event is themed and this Tuesday get ready for some disco fever.
