To save time in this busy modern world, I know I’m personally doing more and more shopping online—recent purchases include a one-kilo bag of sea salt and a sofa. But there are some things you can’t order from Amazon Prime, and for those you’ve-gotta-see-it-in-person things on your shopping list, it’s nice to have a special place to really savour the experience (Soak it in! Live a little! Leave your house, Stacey!).
This is doubly true when it’s a momentous purchase like, say, dropping some cash on a new Rolls-Royce—so it’s good news, then, that OpenRoad Auto Group has just opened up its very own freestanding RR showroom in Kits. If a luxury vehicle is on your shopping list, the dealership’s Diamond and Adventure Rooms (one white and glossy, the other decked out with faux trees to look like the West Coast wilderness) are open for you to check out the brand’s shiniest new playthings IRL. The most recent of Rolls’ offerings is its first foray into the SUV market: the Cullinan. I’d like to see an Amazon Drone try and deliver that to my door. (Please?)
