Don’t know your widgeons from your bushtits? As part of the Vancouver International Bird Festival (August 19-26), the Stanley Park Nature House is hosting a laid-back nature walk for the bird-curious. The 2nd annual Wild Salmon Celebration returns to Granville Island this weekend, featuring scrumptious salmon dishes prepared by six esteemed B.C. chefs (highlights include Mariana Gabilondo of La Mezcaleria and Gus Stieffenhofer-Brandson of Hawksworth Restaurant).
