Warning: Please be advised there are copious amount of puns in this piece. Youngsters know them from being on the soundtrack to 500 Days of Summer, but seasoned fans know them from the good old days when it was all party in the front, business in the back. Tomorrow night, the ’80s pop-chart musical dream team is back to grace the Fair at the P.N.E., giving you Everything Your Heart Desires. We should note that Hall & Oates have released more hit singles than you would probably credit them for, including: “You Make My Dreams,” “Maneater,” and “Kiss On My List,” meaning a surprisingly good concert is in store for those who aren’t number-one fans. The Summer Night Concert series has grown in popularity over the years, attracting stars like Boyz II Men, whose concert last year left fans wanting more, so they’re back tonight to prove they aren’t Out of Touch (not to worry if you’re a Family Man as kids 13 and under are free). There’s no requirement to be a Rich Girl as entry is only $16 with your regular P.N.E. admission, or $13 online. If you want to skip the Fair in favour of just the music, tickets starting at $20 are available at the gate, but it’s even easier to reserve seating online: we did it In a Minute.Did you know Hall & Oates were named the number one best selling duo of all time? This led us to consider: What other pop duos were even in the running? Wham? Sonny and Cher? Tweet us @Vanmag_com with your suggestions because we’re scraping the bottom of the barrel by throwing around Donny and Marie. Daryl Hall and John Oates 8p.m. Summer Night Concerts at the P.N.E.
