Whether its the twinkle lights that drape the massive tree near English Bay or the Santa Claus Parade that winds through downtown, the holidays present themselves each year in the city. These traditions animate the cold, wintry (and sometimes rainy) streets of Vancouver as they create colourful pockets of celebration.Cause We Care is connecting to that festive feeling through their own holiday tradition, the annual hamper drive. For eight years, the charitable foundation has been working with local companies and volunteers to create care packages for single mothers and their families throughout the Greater Vancouver area. Brimming with household products, food, and gifts, a single hamper is made possible with an online donation of $65.Along with donations, volunteers are also invited to connect with their community by packing and delivering hampers.
