Swiss menswear retailer Strellson celebrated the launch of its new store on Alberni Street with a party in the sky. Guests from all over Vancouver, including actors from The CW’s The 100 and Fox’s Wayward Pines, along with local news and fashion celebrities, got the full red-carpet treatment. Starting with a tour of the new store, party-goers painted graffiti on Tangible Interaction’s digital graffiti-wall, before being ushered up in a private elevator to a rooftop patio with 360-degree views of the city. DJ Pri from Girl on Wax spun dance beats all night long as guests nibbled on mini-cheeseburgers and hors d’oeuvres from Boy with a Knife, and sipped on cocktails from The Woods Spirit Co. and Parallel 49 Brewing. For dessert? Delectable treats like cotton candy and popcorn were served on table-top candy bars. It was definitely not a bad way to start off the summer.
