You could do a passive-aggressive cookie exchange with your friends this holiday season, or you could leave the baking to the professionals.
The Pie Hole founder, Jenell Parsons, is calling for everyone to get into the giving spirit and participate in an online auction that’s donating all its proceeds to The Greater Vancouver Food Bank. The second annual Great Charity Cookie Swap will run from December 12th to the 16th, and will feature five acclaimed Vancouver bakers auctioning off six cookie boxes.
The boxes will include apple caramel crumble pie cookies from Parsons (The Pie Hole), Fanny Lam’s (Oh Sweet Day!) assorted holiday shortbread, snowflake empire cookies from Rosie Daykin (Butter Baked Goods), as well as, Tessa Huff’s (Style Sweet) vanilla nutella macarons and decorated sugar cookies from Kylie Mangles (Letterpress).
