The RBC Emerging Artists Project was established to support the arts in Canada by promoting local, national and international artistic initiatives. In 2015 alone, the RBC Foundation donated more than $4.3 million to artistic and cultural organizations, and a total of $121 million to causes around the world.The RBC Emerging Artists Project supports many highly respected arts organizations including the National Ballet of Canada, the Toronto International Film Festival, the Canadian Opera Company, the Canadian Art Foundation and the Writers’ Trust of Canada.One of the RBC Emerging Artists Project’s largest annual events is the RBC Canadian Painting Competition (CPC). Now in its 18th year, the CPC supports emerging Canadian artists, helping them to establish and successfully navigate their careers.
