Photo Contest: Submit Your Cute Pet Photos For a Chance to be Featured

Plus: the winner receives a pair of tickets to the PNE Fair. We want to see Vancouver's cutest pets at your fave spots in the city!

I’m going to be honest with you: us VanMag editors have spent the summer obsessed with the adorable pets we’ve seen all over the city. Catch us Monday morning gushing over the cat on a leash spotted at Summer Cinema, or the scruffy little pup lounging near the fire pit at Batch.

Of course the next logical step is that we come to the source directly (we are journalists, after all)—so we’ve opened up our very own pet photo contest.

It’s pretty simple: we’re looking for photos of your (obviously adorable) pets in your fave spots in the city. Whether that’s your cat in a stroller as you walk the seawall, your dog overlooking your favourite scenic overlook, or your hamster at your fave patio. The winning photo has a chance to be featured here on vanmag.com as well as on our Instagram —plus the winner will receive two free tickets to the PNE fair (valid until Sept 2). Please make sure to mention the location so we can tag them in case you win!

After you upload, you’ll be asked for your email. But don’t fret—this isn’t a secret spam-a lot-plot—we won’t be collecting your email unless you sign up for our newsletter (which, really, you’re missing out on if you’re not already subscribed). Otherwise, all you’ll receive is an email thanking you for submitting.

The contest runs until August 23, at 11:59 p.m. PST. The winner will be announced by August 26. Please note that this prize can only be claimed during the times the PNE Fair is open. Travel will not be provided, so you must be based in Greater Vancouver to enter.
We notify the winner directly through an @canadawide.com email. Do not give out any of your information to other emails or accounts claiming to be coordinating for us.

Please note: Our survey software is embedded below, and can sometimes take a moment or two to load. After you click “submit”, you’ll have to prove you’re a human and not a robot overlord—make sure you pass the CAPTCHA test too!
