Friday, May 29

    • Vancouver Craft Beer Week Opening GalaFeaturing the 1st annual Vancouver Magazine International Craft Beer Awards
    • Vancouver Roundhouse6pm – 10pm

We tasted and judged, and now we’re ready to reveal the winners of our first annual International Craft Beer Awards. The gala includes entertainment from host and comedian Dino Archie, food from CRAFT Beer Market, and unlimited samples from the much-anticipated winning breweries.Tickets

Sunday, May 31

Presented by Zulu Records, this musical event features Dada Plan, Slow Learners, Spoon River, and DJs Ryan Dyck and Nicolas Bragg. There will be beer from Gigantic Brewing, Brassneck, Parallel 49, and Strange Fellows, plus a Tailgate Taco Bar. Food and drinks are included in the ticket price.Tickets

Monday, June 1

  • BierCraft Belgian Showcase
  • BierCraft Cambie6:30pm – 11pm

Celebrate Belgian beer at this annual VCBW event. Also, for the herbivores out there, this all-inclusive event will provide vegetarian food options.Tickets

Tuesday, June 2

  • Cicerone vs. Sommelier
  • Legacy Liquor Store6pm – 10pm

This food-pairing challenge brings champion cicerone Don Farion of BierCraft head-to-head with sommelier Emily Walker of the Four Seasons Vancouver. The competitors will pair a select beer or wine with four courses by Belmont Bar chef Joel Oschsendorf.Tickets

Wednesday, June 3

  • Battle of the Bartenders: Beer Cocktail Competition V

Guests will receive a New Growth Pale Ale from Driftwood Brewery, a raffle ticket for an amazing door prize, and samples of the competitors’ cocktails.Tickets

Beer, food, and some mystery treats are all included in the ticket price for this event. Gigantic, Breakside, Upright, The Commons, Alameda, Hopworks, pFriem, and Occidental will take over the taps for the evening.Tickets

The brotherhood of hops—a.k.a. Gigantic Brewery, Central City Brewers, Ninkasi Brewing Company, and Parallel 49—have teamed up for this event, plus there will be food and a Q&A with the Friday Pints podcast.Tickets

Friday, June 5

  • Rookies & Legends

This event brings together 12 veteran breweries and 12 young guns for a social event that will raise funds for the BC Craft Brewers Guild. Tickets include beer samples and snacks.Tickets

  • Vancouver Craft Beer Week Festival

The Vancouver Craft Beer Week Festival—the biggest craft beer festival in Canada—features more than 100 breweries and 400 beers. Tickets include entry to the festival, entertainment, and a tasting glass. Sample tokens are $1.25 each. (Pro tip: Consider the “Gate Crashers” ticket to get early entry.)Tickets
