Party pictures from the first-ever Vancouver Magazine International Craft Beer Awards.
The first-ever Vancouver Magazine International Craft Beer Awards took place on Friday night at the opening gala for Vancouver Craft Beer Week. Though Steamworks’ Imperial Red Ale walked away with the biggest prize of the evening–Best of Show–several breweries took home several titles, with Bridge Brewing winning four awards (gold in Best North American Ale; silver in Best Stout; silver in Best Hybrid, and silver in Best Specialty). Comedian Dino Archie entertained the crowd before Vancouver’s editor-in-chief John Burns took to the stage to present the award: Jerkface-inspired neon-pink beard and all.You can see the full results of our inaugural beer awards here, or pick up a copy of the magazine in stores now.
