Vancouver Magazine Wine Awards 2010

 The Process

Wines were tasted blind on a like-with-like basis. Our judges were divided into three mini-panels. Flights of wine were organized by style and price. Winners were chosen by consensus among the judges, who collectively decided which wines represented the best values. The mini-panels then united for the final playoff among all the category winners, at which the Beronia Rioja Reserva 2004 was voted Best in Show.

Many bottles are widely available from B.C. LDB stores. This symbol ★ indicates a restricted listing (bottles that are available only from private wine stores and winery shops). For a list of private wine stores carrying these wines, click here.
