Editor's Pick
We are now accepting entries until Friday, April 16.
It’s no secret that Vancouver is bursting with creative talent: in the before-COVID-times, we had a never-ending schedule of craft shows, farmers markets and and pop-up shops on our calendar. And with the pandemic pushing the #ShopLocal movement to the forefront, we’ve been thrilled to discover even more small neighbourhood businesses and producers who were hiding in plain sight.
All in all: its clear we live in a city full of makers. And with our third annual Made in Vancouver awards program, we’re thrilled to once again be shining a light on our own homegrown talent.
With six categories selected to encompass the products Vancouverites love most (Food, Drink, Style, Beauty, Fitness, Home) and one more to cover anything we’ve missed (Wildcard!), the editors of Vancouver Magazine aim to celebrate a diverse collection of the city’s best locally produced goods, from artisanal hot sauces to handcrafted bags to eco-chic outerwear. (And, yes, of course we have a beer category.)
VanMag’s Made in Vancouver Awards are your chance to share your work with our editorial team of judges, and winners will be profiled the summer issue of our magazine.
Think you’ve got the goods to win the crown? We’re accepting submissions until April 16, so apply today and show us what you’ve got.
Blow us away, Vancouver! We’re ready for you.
