The best of Vancouver’s food scene celebrated great food and exceptional hospitality at the 26th Annual Restaurant Awards. Notable honourees included Vikram Vij, Ned Bell, Bruno Marti, Bryant Mao, and Rose Nguyen, but the big winner of the night was Railtown’s Ask for Luigi, which swept the major categories to win Best Restaurant as well as Best New Restaurant, Best Casual Restaurant, and Best Casual Italian.Each year, Vancouver Magazine makes a contribution to a food-related charity, with this year’s the donation going to Vancouver-based Mealshare.
